海外的手信, 痘痘速殺!

我在英國的一位好朋友, 一個香港女生嫁了一位馬來西亞華僑然後定居在英國. 

每過一段時間. 這對夫婦就會來個環亞探親之旅, 先到馬來西亞轉轉探望婆家再轉到香港看看娘家. 

記得還在英國時, 有次當他們完成環亞之旅歸來後, 我朋友就給我扔來一支容量50ML 以上, 青色的液體, 對我說, "我也不知道你幹嗎去THE BXDY SXOP 買他們那貴死人又DILUTE 了很多的茶樹油, 這支馬來西亞100%茶樹油拿去玩吧, 只是便宜的東西, 不用太感謝我的. 挖哈哈哈哈~" 

(上圖不是我當年拿到的那支, 雖然當年那支和這支的品牌是一樣可是size不同, 不過包裝上都一樣全是馬來文我看不懂...囧)

當我把包裝打開後, 這支馬來西亞茶樹油嗅著和THE BXDY SXOP 出品的完全沒有分別, 用著的感覺

由於他是100% UNDILUTED 的, 所以朋友也跟我說了在用的時候最好點一點點水去DILUTE 一下再刷上面. 我有試過手賤太懶忘了把他先DILUTE, 直接刷上面, 雖然感到會有點辣但是還是可接受的地步 (<好孩子不要學這個 囧) 

而最重要的效果方面, 一般痘痘在晚上刷了這個之後, 第二天一覺醒來時他已經差不多已經自然消滅了. (我用THE BXDY SXOP的"招牌茶樹油"時, 痘痘多數要兩三天才BYE的)

用過THE BXDY SXOP茶樹油的都知道茶樹油的味道比較強, 所以這個白天我是不會用在身上的.  

另外說一下, 這東西在去印方面無能. 如果是希望去印的話, 你還是找其他東西幫忙吧. 

雖然當時人一直也沒有直接說那支茶樹油花了多了錢入手, 但是隱約記得她說過一次過她買了超過半打回來送人, 花了不超過RM 30 (大約港幣$72). 

算起來, 一支不就RM 5 (HK$12)不到嗎?　＠Ａ＠

剛往THE BXDY SXOP 看看, 

他家的"招牌茶樹油"裡加了一大堆東西去DILUTE (成份表的第2點就是酒精...難怪次次往面上刷完之後總覺得很乾) 

香港官網官方價錢10ML 賣你$89 元正, 英國官網掛了找不到價錢,但是印象中10ML 好像也要8-9個大洋. 

貓的, 這些年來, 作為忠心FAN 的我被THE BXDY SXOP 賺了多少錢啊....OTL

而由於這支東西實在太大支, 單拿來刷痘痘的話用幾年也不會用得完, 所以我們也想了其他可以用來消滅這支油的方法. 

在英國的家常常會有很多蟲子蜘蛛什麼的從外面飛進來, 只要找片化妝棉加點茶樹油然後放在窗邊, 他們就不會飛進來了. 

朋友有時在蒸面時會加幾滴下去一起蒸. 不知道這個對蒸面時會有什麼功效, 但是蒸汽有點味道感覺比較爽XD

這些年來在一直搬來搬去, 由地球的一邊搬回去世界的另一邊, 搬家搬太多次, 我把我的那支茶樹油弄扔了 :(

然後我發現當年沒有把瓶子拍下來, 等我想自己去找也找不到...orz

還好最近這對夫婦又回來亞洲環亞探親之旅, 就叫他們幫助買支回來. 

朋友也知道大支裝會用不完, 就很貼心的買了15ML 小包裝給我.

When I was living in UK, this country was so unblessed by Mr. Sunshine. We only have a two month summer there. Every time when the sun comes out, everyone will just take their chance to enjoy the little love that Mr. Sunshine brings to us, and having a good time under the sun. 

As we do not have the sun always shinning above us in UK like what happening in HK, we don't need to do much on whitening. To be honest, I was very lazy in terms of whitening lol. (I know the damage from UV light is a different matter. You MUST ALWAYS wear your SPF, no matter what weather it is!) 

But the whitening is a different story in HK. We got a proper summer here. If you don't put on your sun-protection gear on, you will be burnt and charcoaled after a day out,  I promise you. 

No matter what the other says, Asian just LOVE paler skintone. 

In the old Chinese slang, we claimed a paler skintone will hide away the imprefects on your face. 

That's why the whitening is a big business in Asian's beauty industry. 

After enjoying a lovely time in the sunlight, it is time for me to recover the damage. 

Olay White Radiance Pristine White Essence is my little secret helper for whitening. 

It comes in a dropper bottle. I found it is very handy to pick up the product. You press the bulb at the top and you got the product enough for one dose from the other end. Simple

The product itself is a white thickish liquid. It is very spreadable and a little goes a long way. This little bottle usually last 6 weeks for me.



Olay White Radiance Pristine White Essence cost me HK$229/40ml from Mannings, but I can sure you can find it somewhere cheaper (You know, Christmas sale is coming to town *Hint Hint*).

Batiste dry shampoo - British girls' hair secret

Let's imagine one day you wake up late. Your hair looks dull and greasy, but there is no time for a quick wash. What would you do?


When I was in UK, I will go and grab my secret weapon - Batiste dry shampoo.

Batiste absorbs oil at the roots of your hair. What you need to do is just spray into your roots and rub them in until they are invisible. Hola and that's it! No wash, no rinse, and no blow dry. Easy! It only take me a minute to get my hair back in shape and ready to go!

It does it job and it is dead cheap - a 200ml bottle costed me £2.50ish and it is always on buy-one-get-one-free in Superdrug. If you prefer bigger bottles, it also comes in a super large bottle of 400ml. It also comes in different smells and packages so you can pick the one you like (Look at that cute Union Jack one in the middle! So adorable!)

If a cheap product works, why bother to throw your cash into expensive product? 

(BTW, Superdrug UK does an own-brand dry shampoo but that one sucks. Don't waste your money on that one!)

But there is an issue - the original Batiste formula is a white powder. If you didn't rub the product enough, your hair will look like covering in salt & pepper.


And the solution is a coloured Bastiste!

I got my bottle in a hint of brunette

It comes with a brunette coloured  product and you can't see it in hair even if you don't rub them in properly.

I still haven't got a clue why I grab the brunette bottle as I got very dark hair, but heyho, that still works on me.  There are no more salt & pepper in my hair :)


I bought my bottle of brunette Batiste with me when I moved back to Hong Kong, but it is running low now. Luckily Batiste is now available in Hong Kong (I think it is around HK$50 for 150ml in Watsons & Mannings, don't quote me if I am wrong lol ). 
But they DO NOT CARRY THE COLOURED ONES HERE!!!! OMG how am I going to survive when my brunette one runs out?

從英國回到香港定居之後, 在衣食住行中發現其中一個問題,

發現衣方面的問題可大著

香港的女生普遍來說, 身材都是比較纖細. 走到街上看到其實女生, 總令我常常有覺得"那個女生腿好瘦啊~"或者"那個女生腰好細啊~" 的想法 我才不會承認我更常想的是"那個女生的胸好小啊XDDDDD"  

當普遍女生都是纖細形時, 市面上的衣服呎吋當然是照general population 來做.

假如, 當你不是普遍身形時, 想買衣服就會是難事了

在店裡看到很多美麗的衣服都是均碼, 可是均碼的隱藏意思不是one size fits all 而是one size fits none.

外衣大不了還可以從國外網購, 但是如果想買必需要試過身才能買的內衣就會是件苦猜事了.

走到內衣店想找一個下圍75 CM以上的爸爸, 店員總會告知你"對不起我們最大碼的下圍只做至75CM".  想找個C CUP以上的不是沒有, 可是款式不是全光身的話, 就大多都會是歐巴桑STYLE, 想找個可愛一點的也沒有.

其實香港身材比較豐滿一點的美眉, 會在哪裡做她們的Lingerie shopping? 大家來交流一下吧

Make use of your leftover milk &yoghurt to make more yogurts(!) .

You will need a mug of milk, one tbs of bio yogurt as a starter culture, and something to put your new batch of yogurt in. An old jam jar disinfected with boiling water would do the job. 

1. Heat a cup of milk in microwave until it is a bit hotter than lukewarm. Let it cools down to a level that is not hot enough to burn you/ the bacteria in the yoghurt culture
2. Add the milk to the culture &mix well
3. Put the jar in somewhere warm until set. I picked a wrong day to start the project. It was too cold for the bacteria to do their job so i put the jar in a warm waterbath and insulated it with towels. Top up the waterbath with warm water if it has cooled down.
4. After 12 undisturbed hours, the yummy treat is ready! Nom nom nom
